It’s been a while since my last post on the blog, how are you guys??? How did this weekend work out for you?? Well, mine was an awesome one, also since it’s mother’s day I’d decided to spend every minute of my day chilling with my beautiful mommy, we caught up on some movies, ordered pizza, and we  spent the day talking, this was basically the best day ever, a day well spent.Love you mommy, you are the best!!! ??

Getting back to work, the product I’m going to review today is from a brand I’d been raving about in one of my previous posts,…any guesses??? ?

Well, it is The Body Shop, as I’ve mentioned earlier my love for TBS is eternal ,and I’m back with another drool worthy product by TBS, it’s called Tea Tree Flawless BB cream.

What’s a BB cream, you may ask???

Let me give you a brief about it, BB cream is an acronym  for blemish balm, blemish base, or beauty balm. It is a cream with a slight tint, a BB cream comes with the perfection of a foundation, and the hydrating power of a moisturizer, plus most of the BB creams come with sunblock(SPF), so if wearing a foundation on a daily basis feels heavy, you can always replace it with a BB cream.

My Story❤

I’m a huge fan of BB creams as I, consider wearing a foundation only for special occasions and I, love BB creams as they aren’t any less than a foundation, they moisturize, protect and correct blemishes on my skin. I’d tried a couple of BB creams, but I’d heard a lot about this BB cream by TBS, and being an ardent TBS fan , I rushed to the nearest TBS outlet and got my hands on this beauty.

Packaging:

It comes in a tiny green tube , with a beige cap which has a flap and it closes with a click, it has a nozzle which is wide enough to spritz a few drops this amazing product. On the whole the packaging is travel friendly.

Price:

INR 1095 for 40 ml.

My take on this product:

This is one of the best BB creams I’ve used so far, it comes in 3 shades, 01,02, and 03. I, have it in the shade 01,  a few drops of this BB cream, along with a few puffs of compact powder and a little blush and  I’m all set for the day, it gives a matte finish, leaves the skin feeling dewy and bright, it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, provides sheer coverage but is definitely build-able, a little goes a long way, it is build-able is easily bendable and though my skin is super sensitive it never broke me out plus it has tea tree as an active ingredient which helps stay away from acne .  The fragrance is mild and pleasant.Since I, have oily skin I,set it with a compact powder,  It lasts for a good 4-5 hours when set with a compact powder. ?

cons

• Expensive
• comes only in 3 shades
• Doesn’t contain SPF

I’d conclude by saying that this is another amazing product by TBS, TBS never ceases to surprise me with it’s amazing products,this is another TBS product you cannot miss, so all you TBS lovers do add this product to your TBS collection.
