Well, I’m super excited about it, finally a break from the busy and hectic week , Bangalore’s weather has been so unpredictable, the scorching heat is unbearable can’t really think of walking out without a sunscreen, though summer comes with its own perks, especially feasting on some juicy mangoes, and enjoying the rain , after a super hot day. Well, since this weekend is a long one I, have a couple of things lined up, got some movies to catch up on, and lots of shopping to do.??
Getting back to work, The product I’m going to review today is one of my favorite fragrances it’s an EDT from The Body Shop from the Madagascan and vanilla flower range , It’s more of a summery kind of fragrance, just perfect to brighten up a long summery day.?

My Story❤

Just like all you beauties out there I’m a huge fan of bath and body essentials, and my shopping is never complete until I, visit a TBS outlet. I’m a huge TBS fan and love collecting TBS products be it their fragrance mists, EDTs, creams, etc and my family and friends know that the best gift for me is a TBS product so, that’s how I, came across this amazing fragrance, this EDT was a birthday present from my aunt she picked it up from a TBS outlet during her trip to Europe , and this gift made my day, it was a beautiful yellow box with four products in it, the Madagascan and vanilla flower EDT(50ml) ,a body lotion(200ml), (200 ml) shower gel and a( 15 ml) perfume oil from the same range however, I’ll be reviewing the EDT as of now.

About The body Shop Madagascan and vanilla flower( EDT,50 ml 1.69 US FL OZ)

Well,most of you might know about this brand of bath and body essentials, though I’ll give you a brief about it:
The Body Shop is basically a British based skin care and cosmetics company owned by L’oreal, It was founded in 1976.Since then it’s been one of the most widespread skin care & cosmetic brands all around the world.
The body shop is one of my favorite brands, and they have a variety of bath and body essentials but this range is my favorite.

Product Details:

This was a fragrance introduced by the body shop in 2012, this range was called the scents of the world, which included 5 EDTs these fragrances composed of 100% organic alcohol & natural extracts collected from various parts of the world. These fragrances were available in 50 ml bottles accompanied by other body essentials as well i.e a 100 ml fragrance mist, 200 ml body lotion, 200 ml shower gel and a 15 ml perfume oil.
The Madagascan and vanilla flower EDT is inspired by a long summery day on the island of Madagascar, this warm sensual EDT from the scents of the world fragrances features a blend of floral and oriental accords.

Top notes:
• Vanilla
• Floral
• Amber

Lower notes:
• Citrus

Ingredients:

Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Dilutent), Aqua water(Solvent/Dilutent), Parfum/Fragrance(Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate(Fragrance Ingredient), Benzyl Benzoate(solvent), Hexyl Cinnamal(fragrance ingriedient), Cittronellol(Fragrance Ingriedient), Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate(antiocxidant), Dentonium Benzoate(Denaturant).

Packaging:

This perfume comes in a sleek glass see through bottle which adds a classy edge to the product .The bottle has a silver nozzle ,which helps spritz the perfume easily and also has a silver cap which fits firmly onto the bottle. On the whole, the packaging is really attractive and travel friendly.

My take on this product:

This is one of the best fragrances from The Body Shop, I’m totally drooling over it. Just a few spritz of this product on a long summery day , and I’m good for the day. It has top notes of vanilla and floral accords which settles down to musky amber with overpowering notes of vanilla . I, put it on before heading out, and the fragrance lingers around for a good 6-7 hours.This floral and sensuous fragrance is just what you need to turn a long boring day into an awesome one. Well, you can also build the fragrance by using the body mist, lotion or the perfume oil from the same range. I’m in love with this fragrance and my day is incomplete without a few spritz of this perfume.?

• Price may be an issue .
